Dugit Building Project
In the summer of 2014 Avi was given a month’s notice to pack up the coffee shop and leave the storefront he had been renting. Avi tried very hard to renew the lease ending that month, but the landlord would not hear of it refusing all offers. Avi later found out the reason the landlord would not renew the lease was because an anti-missionary group put extreme amounts of pressure on him not to renew the contract.
Avi got on his knees and cried out to God for direction. The Lord renewed Avi’s vision for us to buy a permanent home for the Dugit Outreach center, and eventually, for all the ministries under our umbrella.
God is good and the great provider in all things. We are overjoyed to report that in the past 2 years we have been able to raise just over 1.2 million dollars! However, because of the continual increase in real estate value, owners are very reluctant to sell anything. Most will only rent yearly, adding 10% with each following year. However, in the past few weeks a possible door has opened up for us to make a purchase. We will give more details as the situation develops. Please continue to lift this situation up in prayer as we believe it will have a great spiritual impact in the city of Tel Aviv for the next generation. If you feel led to partner with us in any way for this building project both in prayer and in finances, please feel free to contact our offices and designate your gift for the Dugit Building Fund.
