We are pleased to announce that it has already been a blessed winter of rain in Israel. On Tuesday January 8th 2013 a major storm hit Israel that lasted for several days. The Ayalon River over flowed and flooded the highway in the middle of Tel Aviv for the first time in 21 years; causing major traffic congestion.
Rain is always a blessing in Israel, even when it causes some havoc: Some 300 people had to be evacuated from their homes because of the flooding in the North. 15 Arab Muslims were stranded on a rooftop and were rescued by the Israeli Airforce via helicopter. Snow blanketed Jerusalem and the Golan, causing many traffic accidents but even more snowmen.
And, most importantly the Sea of Galilee, Israel’s main water source, rose 22 centimeters in one day (84 centimeters total), which has never happened before. Praise the Lord!
We thank the Lord for the rain. We are praying for the Lord to pour out His Spirit to rain on us in Tel Aviv. We need revival to hit our city!!!
Thank you for all of your prayers and financial support.

While Jewish tradition places the New Year (Rosh HaShanah) in late summer, many Israeli youth and young adults use the December 31st New Years Eve as a chance to party and drink. Shmuel, the Associate Pastor of Adonai Roi, along with other youth leaders from the Tel Aviv area held an alternative event that invited our youth and young adults to usher in the calendar year with worship and prayer. All the Glory to God! Over 150 of the Messianic Believing youth declared 2013 as an acceptable year of the Lord. As they counted down the seconds to the coming year, they were challenged to make resolutions that will draw them closer to God and to be set apart from the ways of the world. Please pray that the Lord will draw them all nearer to Him in 2013!
“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, Because the Lord has anointed Me…To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord” Isaiah 61:1a-2a

Hanukkah (The Festival of Lights) is a holiday that reminds us to put our hope and trust in an awesome and powerful God as it commemorates a time when the Jews took possession of Jerusalem from the Greeks.
Several days before the start of the Hanukkah holiday, the Agape Distribution Center* distributed food packages along with special baskets of love to families in need. This Hanukkah gift package included items like towels, laundry detergent, toothpaste, shampoo and other necessities for the home. It was a wonderful opportunity to bless the least of these in our community and spread joy during the holiday season.
Please pray that God would continue to bless our ministry to the poor in our community, providing us with food and clothing to bless them physically and to minister to them spiritually!
“So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.” II Corinthians 9:7
If you would like to support us in reaching out to the poor through our Distribution Center please send donations to our US Office: PO Box 60099, Jacksonville, Fl 32236

On December 12, 2012 Messianic Jews from Adonai Roi Congregation and Arab Christians from the local Assemblies of God Churches gathered together to worship the Lord. In the wake of the recent Gaza war, Pastor Victor Bahbah called me and asked if we could gather together in unity. Only Yeshua can break down the wall between our two peoples. On the 4th night of Hanukkah (the Festival of Lights) we met as “One New Man” and sang worship songs in Hebrew and Arabic. We also lit the Hanukkah candles and declared that Yeshua is the Light of the World. Lastly, we partook in the Lord’s Supper together; recognizing Yeshua’s redemptive power in our lives. May our worship, fellowship, and communion testify that Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah is the only one who can and will bring peace to Israel and entire Middle East.
“So as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace.” Ephesians 2:15c

- We are pleased to announce that the number of outreach events at Dugit Messianic Outreach Centre increased and that more Israelis are hearing the Good News of our Messiah Yeshua. Every week, sometimes twice a week, we are hosting a Dugit Live or doing outreach at the beach, park, or local hospital. Recently, during a Dugit Live, every table in the centre had an unbeliever that was being witnessed to about our Lord. It was an amazing sight to see! May every seed that has been planted begin to take root and bear much fruit for the Kingdom.
- Our new Dugit website and Adonai Roi Worship CD are almost finished, and you should look for them in the coming months.
- In the last five months Adonai Roi Congregation has hosted a Women’s Conference and Roundtable for the Pastors’ Wives, held a Prayer Breakfast for the Pastor’s of Tel Aviv, sent the youth/young adults on 3 camping trips, held a couples seminar, and sponsored a Worship Retreat for our worshippers. We also continue to hold many discipleship meetings/home groups, and are planning a full congregational retreat in the fall.
- At the Agape Distribution Center, we continue to feed and clothe the needy families of Tel Aviv. We have already blessed these families for Passover (The Feast of Unleavened Bread) and are preparing to give another “Love Basket” for Rosh Hashanah (The Feast of Trumpets). The Agape Distribution Center is looking for Matthew 25 “friends of Yeshua” to allow us to continue to give to the hungry. Would you write back to us and tell us you want to become a part of the “friends of Yeshua” team of people who are supporting Agape!

In mid September, Adonai Roi Congregation traveled to the shores of the Galilee for a time of fellowship, fun, and to baptize new believers into the Body of Messiah. Not far from Capernaum, where Yeshua began his ministry, our congregation gathered for worship and a brief message. Later, a young married couple along with James*, a Jewish immigrant from Brazil, shared their personal testimonies of faith and were then immersed in the Sea of Galilee. Praise the Lord!
Dan, Dugit’s Outreach Director, reminisces, “James has been coming to Dugit for a few months now. I remember the first time he walked in the door and had a lot of questions and concerns about the End Times. After studying scripture with him, I could see that he still had a lot of questions. He came again and again, and recently received Yeshua as his Lord and Savior. He has come before to other events such as Dugit Live and is slowly starting to get connected with Adonai Roi Congregation and the Body of Messiah. Please pray that God continues to work in his life and to bring healing in different areas.”
Just a month before, David* another young Israeli man went with Avi to be baptized at the Sea of Galilee. After searching through different Eastern religions, he realized that there had to be only one true faith. He soon found Dugit and was invited to attend one of our congregational home groups. David was amazed by the love that the young believers had for the Lord, especially in worship. He also witnessed the miraculous transformation that occurred in one of his friends who had recently come to faith in Yeshua. After attending Adonai Roi several times and reading the Bible, David recognized that the Gospel of Yeshua was the one, complete “Truth!” He has since confessed his faith in Messiah and has been immersed in the sea. Hallelujah!!! Please pray that the Lord may build David up in faith and sanctify him for His Glory.
We praise the Lord that he is drawing more Israelis to faith in Messiah Yeshua! Please continue to pray for these new believers to be sanctified, delivered, and discipled; that they may become the men and women of God that He has called them to be.
“Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.’” John 14:6-7
